施甸县辖乡。1976年设等子公社，1984年改区，1988年3月改乡。位于县城西北，距县城18.5公里。面积97平方公里，人口1万。原昆(明)(町)公路过境。辖等子、长安、龙洞、下坝、乌木、思腊、绿水、大坪子8个行政村。农产品以玉米、稻谷、小麦、甘蔗、烤烟为主。
