梅田村下辖12个村民小组，307户，总人口1280人，现任村支部书记、村主任刘国建。梅田村以农业种植为主，主要种植双季优质水稻。村内现有梅田福利粉厂等几家小型企业，没有规模企业。村内林木资源较为丰富，以杉木等用材林和薪碳林为主。
